Re-Auditions for Next Year
Re-auditions for next season start this Sunday before Orchestra rehearsal. All returning musicians are expected to re-audition. This is not a “you’re in or out” moment, but a time for you and Linc to meet together, for him to hear your progress, and for you to share with him any feedback or hopes you have for your position in the orchestra. It also lets us know that you’re planning to return in the fall.
You should be prepared to play your scales and a brief musical excerpt for Linc. Ideally this is something you know well and are very comfortable with, that you don’t need to spend too much extra preparation time on. Sign up for your re-audition early and check it off your list! As always, you don’t need to be perfect – just do something you love – play your instrument! 😊
Performance Opportunity
We have had a request from senior living facility Skyrise Apartments (at the corner of Main and Whitman) for music:
I know this is late notice but do you have any group that would like to come and play music at our Easter Dinner on 4/6/2023 at Skyrise 4pm. We have right now about 35 residents attending at this time.
If this is an area you can donate some time to, please let me know! I truly think they would appreciate anything – one or two pieces to open or close the dinner with would be fine. Anything you have to offer could brighten the day of these seniors in our community.

Banquet and Awards
Our Annual Banquet is at Lino’s after the concert on April 30. All are invited to attend! (But also musicians came come without family members if that works better.) The cost is $33 per person.

We also give out awards at the banquet. A big part of that is awards FROM the Musicians TO the Musicians.
