To make the event as safe as possible and minimize the risks of exposure to the virus, the RSO has implemented robust health and safety precautions detailed below.

By purchasing a ticket to this event, audience members are agreeing to adhere to these health and safety precautions. Those who choose to ignore these health and safety measures will be removed from the event.

PLEASE NOTE: The RSO will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 infections within the community in conjunction with the Winnebago County Health Department and the City of Rockford. Based on their recommendations or mandates, event information may change as we approach the event.

Health and Safety Precautions

Facial Masks or Coverings: Facial masks or coverings that cover the mouth and nose will be required at all times.  Disposable masks will be available for those who arrive without one.

Reduced Contact: Tickets will not be sold on-site and must be purchased in advance. Program books will be pre-placed on your seats when you arrive.

Hand Sanitizer: While you are encouraged to have your own available, hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the theatre.

Sanitation: All seats and handrails will be sanitized before you arrive.

Food & Beverage: No food or beverages will be allowed.

Seating Process

Seating in the Music Shell is blocked off to allow for proper social distancing. Every other row is restricted and in the rows where seating is permitted, every other bench is restricted. Family units attending the performance may sit together, even if they take up more than one bench.

Each ticket buyer will be seated in a zone, designated as a color. They will receive an email letting them know in which color zone they have seats and at what entrance to access the theatre. Two ushers will be assigned to each zone and will seat the parties in their zone as they arrive. Program books will be pre-placed on the benches to signify which are available to ensure compliance with social distancing and make seating faster.

At the end of the performance, patrons will be asked to stay in their seats until they are dismissed by zone.

Parking

All ticket buyers will be encouraged to park in the lot by the golf course. Additional accessible parking will be located in the small lot directly behind the Music Shell. Patrons needing accessible parking and seating must request accommodation when they purchase their tickets.
