Introducing RSO Kids Club

Kids Club is a part of our initiative to make the concert experience more family-friendly in addition to providing FREE Youth tickets to all Masterworks performances this season.

Rockford Symphony Orchestra concerts are best enjoyed by children 6 and older. If you plan to bring a young child, we recommend that you choose seats near an isle and/or exit. If you need assistance finding the right seat for your family, please call us at 815.965.0049 or visit our box office at 711 N. Main Street.

The RSO Kids Club is generously sponsored by the Goellner Family Charitable Fund/Hennig Inc.

How can my child get involved?

Lobby Activities

Check out the New Lobby each concert to find activities to bring you and your child closer to the music; anything from arts and crafts to a hands on opportunity to try an instrument!

Kids Club Emails

Make sure you never miss an event by signing up for Kids Club emails!

Concert Passport

Youth ages six and up can receive a passport when they attend a performance. Bring it to each concert, have it stamped at the Kids Club table, and win prizes at the end of the season!

Kids’ Musical Storytime

Each month, RSO musicians will join the RPL library staff to explore a new musical theme, introduce children to real instruments, and foster an early love for reading and music.

RSYO

Join the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra for our FREE concerts. These concerts featuring student musicians are a great way to spend an afternoon and to introduce younger children to an orchestral concert experience!

Free admission at RSYO concerts is generously sponsored by the Goellner Family Charitable Fund/Hennig Inc.

Youth Concerts

The RSO annually hosts area public, private, parochial, and home schools to attend an educational, 50-minute concert at the Coronado.
