Daniel Bolshoy
A passionate chamber musician and recitalist, guitarist Daniel Bolshoy has taken part in numerous festivals and concert series throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He appears on eight commercial recordings and two documentary films for Bravo! TV DOCUMENTARY FILMS. His recordings and live performances are regularly broadcast on CBC Radio, NPR and various classical music stations.
Daniel Bolshoy has appeared as soloist with more than sixty orchestras around the world, including the Calgary Symphony, Edmonton Symphony, Fresno Symphony, Kingston Symphony, Manitoba Symphony, Modesto Symphony, Northwest Sinfonietta, New Mexico Symphony, Nova Scotia Symphony, Okanagan Symphony, Ottawa Symphony, Pennsylvania, Saskatoon, Toronto, the European Union, Vancouver, Victoria, and with the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Mexico Philharmonic, the Volgograd Symphony Orchestra, the Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow Season Orchestras, and many others.
Daniel Bolshoy holds a Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music and received his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Denver, where he studied with Ricardo Iznaola.
