Rehearsal Information

Rehearsals take place on Sundays in the band room of Christian Life High School, 5950 Spring Creek Rd., in Rockford.  Enter on the backside from the parking lot on the west side of campus.

Schedule:

Brass Choir: 1:45-2:45pm

Full Orchestra: 1:45-4:00pm

Honors Chamber Orchestra: 4:15-5:15pm

String Quartet, Woodwind Quintet: rehearsals scheduled independently with coaches.

Members are expected to be in their chair, with instrument ready five minutes prior to the scheduled start time.  Members are allowed two absences per semester, please see the Handbook for more information.

Dress Rehearsals:

Dress rehearsals are mandatory, and are typically scheduled for 2 hours prior to the start of the concert.  Specific information is given out well in advance of each performance.

Alumni

Alumni Performances

The RSYO invites all alumni of the orchestra to join forces with the current members for a side-by-side performance in the spring semester.  Alumni Performances will occur every other year.
