Rockford favorite Jeffrey Biegel returns to celebrate the 200th birth anniversary of Chopin and to introduce a concerto, new to the repertoire, by Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. Brahms labored for more than ten years to produce his triumphant first symphony, which earned the nickname “Beethoven’s 10th” and remains one of the most beloved symphonies of audiences today.
