The first concert of 2011 warms up the Coronado with Gazebo Dances by the composer of The Red Violin and Wagner’s salutation to German art and culture, the comedic Die Meistersinger. Russian cellist Dmitry Kouzov performs the stunning Dvořák cello concerto, described by Maestro Larsen as “the greatest cello concerto ever written.”
