Rockford, IL - Celebrate Rockford's most anticipated and largest holiday tradition with the RSO’s annual Holiday Pops concerts Saturday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 20 at 3:00 p.m. at the Coronado Performing Arts Center. The performances are part of the Rockford Health System Pops Series and are graciously sponsored by Alpine Bank.
Under the direction of Marti Bein, the MPAC Mendelssohn Chorale joins the Rockford Symphony Orchestra to bring powerful performances featuring more than 140 vocalists and musicians performing songs like “Sleigh Ride”, “Lullaby Carols”, “Christmas at the Movies”, “The Twelve Days of Christmas”, and the RSO traditional carol singalong.
RSO Music Director Steven Larsen, celebrates his 25th season with the symphony this year. The RSO is made up of 85 professional musicians from around the region and will perform classics and pops series concerts for more than 40,000 people this year.
